8. The Beach

It is almost taken for granted but for sure it can’t be ignored. One of the most obvious reasons the resort is the envy of others is the direct access to the beach. You can either take the wooden tower footpath or if you are saving energy then how about taking the panoramic lift to the beach! The wooden boardwalk takes you directly to the golden, sandy Falesia Beach, which is renowned for it’s stunning amber-red sandstone cliffs and for being the longest stretch of beach in Portugal. So should you enjoy an early morning jog while the sun rises or a leisurely afternoon stroll then this beach provides the perfect spot in which to indulge all your pleasures. Backed by the beach bar & restaurant you can always rehydrate and use your room key. No wallet, no jingling keys – just sun, beach and freedom. Sun loungers, towels and sunshades are available and all the water sports you need can be organised at our Water Sports Centre; sail boats, jet ski, surfing, catamaran, windsurfing, ringo and banana rides.
